Northeastern University MATH 3175 does not cover "rings" and "fields", which are major components of GT MATH 4107. We recommend that Northeastern University MATH 3175 (4 semester credits) transfers as GT MATH 4107 (3 semester credits) +GT MATH 4XXX (1 semester credit), with the warning to the student that they were responsible for the "rings" and "fields" topics if and when they showed up in future classes.
