In addition to the regular content of the course, I also am working on an "honors contract" for the KSU Honors Program. This is an additional semester-long project that goes more in-depth than the regular class, and involves me building a simulated memory and CPU with a custom instruction set, fetch-decode-execute cycle, etc, and then program various operating system components like a scheduler, memory manager, paging system, etc to make this computer run jobs efficiently.
