I see that the update referred to getting credit for the MATH 1554 course at Georgia Tech. However, I was interested in getting credit for MATH 1553. I was wondering if that would change the outcome of the evaluation or if I would still have to take a placement exam. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need any additional information. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

If the student is confident in the mastery of the course material of GT MATH 1554, there are options of testing out GT MATH 1554, by taking either a Freshman Placement Mathematics Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/faset-and-incoming-students or an Advanced Standing Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams
