ENGL 1102 requires a clear focus in scholarly research, typically reflected in using and citing secondary sources in a paper or other project. I don't see that in this class, so I can't award 1102 credit. If the other class submitted for 1101 credit includes a research component, I'd be willing to grant 1102 credit. Is it possible to forward that syllabus?
