The following were topics covered in MATH 2003 - Fall 2023: 1. Sets, Set Operations, The Universal Set, Subsets, and Multiple Operators 2. Propositional Logic, Truth Tables, Logical Equivalence, and Rules of Inference 3. Quantifiers, Nested Quantifiers, and Translations 4. Direct Proofs, Proofs by Contradiction, Proofs by the Contrapositive, Proof by Cases, and Induction 5. Functions, Relations, Partial Orders, and Relation Matrices 6. Algorithms, Time and Space Complexity Analysis, and Recursion 7. Number Theory, Primes, Greatest Common Divisor, Divisibility, and The Euclidean Algorithm 8. Graph Theory, Paths, Cycles, Incidence, and Adjacency Matrices 9. Trees, Binary Trees, and Tree Traversal Algorithms Tests and Exams were proctored in the following way: 1. Students first had to find a suitable potential proctor. 2. The proctor would then fill out a form with their information and send it to the course professor 3. The course professor would either approve the proctor or force students to find a different proctor 4. Once the student had an approved proctor, the course professor would email the exam to the proctor. 5. The proctor would then print out the exam, give it to the student, and monitor as well as time the student while they were taking the exam. 6. After the student took the test, the proctor would take it from the student, scan it, and return it to the course instructor via email. All 3 tests and the Final exam were administered following the above instructions. The course syllabus was embedded within the class canvas page and was therefore not downloadable. I emailed my course professor asking for a syllabus download and they sent me the one that I submitted to you.
