This course is also nearly identical to the CS 1332 course here at Tech. Although I understand that the code in 1332 is written in Java, and the UVA course was partially Java, partially C++; the concepts explored are nearly identical. Additionally, you can see in the course description that I was required to have two semesters of Java based Computer Science instruction prior to taking the course. Meaning, I am extremely well versed in Java. Again, I believe it would be a waste of my time, money, and energy to retake this course. I can even show you the labs that I did during the UVA course to demonstrate my mastery of different data structures and algorithms optimization in Computer Science. I would like to move on with my major, so please consider this.
