This is an evaluation of a combined bundle of three Drexel courses, MATH 121, 122, and 200. The transfer credits of GT MATH 1552 and/or 2551 should not be awarded. "Infinite Series" (a significant part of GT MATH 1552) and "Vector Analysis" (also called "Vector Calculus", a significant part of GT MATH 2551) are not covered by Drexel MATH 121, 122, and 200.

(Submitting for Matthew Chen XX3899295 ) I have included all the information requested on the form below. Course Prefix: MATH Course Number: 121, 122, 200 Course Title: Calculus I, Calculus II, Multivariate Calculus Academic Term: Fall 2023, Winter 2024, Spring 2024 Credit System: Quarter Hours Credit Hours: 12 Course Syllabus: (attached to email) Note: Hello, I transferred to Georgia Tech from Drexel University, a quarter-system school. As such, I have had many problems regarding my transfer credit and was directed by registrar to submit a transfer evaluation form. I took MATH 121, 122, and 200 at my previous institution but was only given credit for MATH 1551 at Georgia Tech. I was given partial credit (2) for MATH 2551 and 2552 and was told that even though 4 credits would count as 2.66, they cannot display partial credit so it is only listed as 6 credits instead of 8 on degreeworks. This is because I have 3, 4 quarter-hour courses which transfer for 2.66 credits each I was wondering if I could get credit for either MATH 1552 or MATH 2551 as I have already taken Calculus I, II, and multivariate and now need to retake two of the three courses even though I am quite familiar with the content for each. I am currently registered for the MATH 1552 advanced standing exam so I was hoping to be able to use the credit from MATH 122 and 200 towards MATH 2551 and the remaining two credits possibly to a free elective. If not, are there any other possible alternatives? Also, I have attached the syllabi for all 3 courses together as one PDF as I can only submit one file to this form. The syllabus for MATH 121 is from a previous year from the same course coordinator as I could not find the same one from the year I took the course. Thank you so much for understanding! - Matthew Chen XX3899295
