This course (CHE*H121 – General Chemistry I) includes both lecture and lab components as a single integrated course. The lab is not separately listed or registered; it is embedded within the same course number, as indicated in the syllabus. Lab sessions meet weekly and represent ~25% of the final grade. The syllabus demonstrates alignment with Georgia Tech’s CHEM 1211K (Principles of Chemistry I with Lab), covering stoichiometry, thermochemistry, atomic structure, periodic trends, gas laws, bonding, VSEPR, and multiple lab experiments.
