This course was appropriately evaluated as CHEM 1211K. Our CHEM 1310 course covers about 85% of the content in most first- PLUS second-semester general chemistry sequences but in less depth in most cases. This course does not cover content covered in CHEM 1310 including chemical equilibria, acids and bases, kinetics, and electrochemistry.

CHM 151 - General Chemistry 1 (Wake Technical Community College) is a first-semester general chemistry course with a lab component. Currently, I have been awarded credit for CHEM 1211K (Chemical Principles 1), but seeing as this was an engineering-track general chemistry class with a lab component I believe that it would be both favorable and fair if it transferred as CHEM 1310 (Principles of General Chemistry for Engineers) instead.
