Dr. Ferri, this student is an IE major and would like this course evaluated as ME 2XXX elective so that it could be used toward the Engineering Elective requirement. Currently FREE 2XXX was awarded since this course was not transferable for COE 3001. Please let us know if we can award ME 2XXX or if there would be too much crossover in the courses.

I had discussed with my advisor after this course was eventually evaluated as FREE 2XXX since I felt this course can be used as an engineering elective. However, my advisor and his colleagues could not apply it on after they reviewed the syllabus of this course since only an class with an engineering subject title can be considerred to be an engineering elective credit. Meanwhile, my advisor believed that this course should be an ME or CEE class, so he suggested me to ask for re-evaluated, and that is what I am doing here. Thank you for your time!
