In a calculus course at GT, around 80% (typically more than 80%) of the course grade is based on proctored assessments. We expect the corresponding percentage in a course to be transferred is not too low compared to that of GT calculus courses.

Hi, I'm actually just having a general question about evaluations of MATH 1554 transfer credit (not about this one specifically). During the evaluation process of the linear algebra course from another college, the department responded "The proctored component of the course grade is only 60%, which is too small." So, I just wonder what is the minimum percentage of proctored components required for getting transfer credit for MATH 1554.

The existing policy stands: i.e., the course transfers as Gt MATH 1553 (2 GT credits) +GT MATH 1XXX (1 GT credits).

Current BSCS major. Can the student get GT credit requested?

This is a 3 credit course, but I know someone who graduated with a CS degree at GT took this course to satisfy the linear algebra requirement, so I'm not sure how this works. If I get 3 transfer credits from this course, combining the 2 credits I have from 1553, will the 4-credit requirement of linear algebra be satisfied? Thank you so much for your time!
