Hi, to clarify, I haven’t taken CMPSCI-222. However, I was wondering if it would be okay if I take it during a Summer or a Winter quarter at College of the Canyons (they have a quarter system). Would that satisfy the CS 2110 requirement? Thank you.

Hello Makesia, my apologies for the confusion. I should have been more specific in my notes. I was referring to the student mentioning they would take CMPSCI-222 this upcoming Fall or Spring. I believe the student was mentioning possibly CMPSCI 122 + CMPSCI 222 could cover CS 2110, but I do not see they have completed CMPSCI 222 yet, unless I am missing that as well. Thank you for the note and for bringing this to my attention.

Note for student: I see you are enrolled for courses at GA Tech in the Fall, which means you would not be able to take classes at another institution at the same time. You mentioned taking 222 at the other school during the Fall or Spring, but you cannot be enrolled in two institutions at the same time during the Fall and Spring.

Hi, I emailed Professor Berry, the professor for this course regarding your request for the proof of coverage on digital logic synthesis and minimization. He told me that those concepts are covered in CMPSCI-222, the subsequent course following this CMPSCI-122 course. I can and will take this course during this upcoming Fall or Spring if transfers to a course that satisfies my degree requirement. What would this course be transferred to if I do take this course?

Note for student: Can you provide documentation that you have covered digital logic synthesis and minization from another course? Need to have proof of those concepts in order to make a decision on the transferability of this class.
