Following up on this class. I was granted credit for ME 2016, for my major I only need CS 1371. This class covered the content required in CS 1371 and ME 2016. Am I not able to gain credit for this class even though it is the prereq for the class I gained credit for? Is there a person I can reach out to to set up a meeting to review?

Hi Max, We can grant credit where credit is not earned. If you feel you are proficient in CS 1371, you can take an Advanced Standing Exam for GT CS 1371 credit. I hope this helps. Yes, however, that was also the course that taught us Mat Lab, which is the basis of the prerequisite (the CS course) for the system already listed on the transfer equivalency chart. So I was just wondering why I would have to retake the course if I already took the more advanced version of that course. Thank you!

EMCH 201 is already listed on the transfer equivalency site and will grant credit for ME 2016

CS 1371 is a pre req for ME 2016 which is the equivalent course of EMCH201

I noticed computing for engineers (CS 1371) is a prerequisite, I also have two semesters of computer science classes, would I be able to get credit for CS 1371 due to these two factors?
