The syllabus does not provide sufficient information. There is no indication of class discussions (usually expected in a government course) or the expectations for the three writing assignments. The text is good, but a GT equivalent would add readings that extend beyond a single textbook. It appears that a student could pass this course simply by reading the textbook.
