Hello! I recently heard back from the academic credentials evaluation company, Joseph Silny and Associates, that my credits had been reviewed and sent to Georgia Tech. "On 11/14/2023 evaluation, application, and credentials will be sent electronically to Georgia Institute of Technology (appdocs@admission.gatech.edu and chad.bryant@admission.gatech.edu)." If you have their report, please use it to finish this transfer credit evaluation. Thank you!

We would still need this information if we receive the transcript from the National Taiwan Normal University. If we receive a transcript from The University of North Georgia where they granted the credit, then we could review.

Hello! For your reference, this course is an accredited course at the University of North Georgia, so shouldn't it also be an accredited course at Georgia Tech? Here's the link from UNG: https://studioabroad.ung.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgramAngular&id=11204 According to this page, UNG counts my course as equivalent to CHIN 2950, CHIN 2960, CHIN 2970, as 9 credits. And here is the link for my program, which was the same as the program above: https://mtc.ntnu.edu.tw/eng/ssp_Program_Information.html

So, if I turned in the English version of the syllabus, would I still need to get a wes / silny / NACES credit evaluation?

In order to review your credit for possible transfer equivalencies we would need the following: 1. A Wes (Worldwide Education Services) or Silny or other current NACES member credentials evaluation since the syllabi are not in English 2. A NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services) credentials review and translated syllabi You can find more information for your review at https://admission.gatech.edu/international/transfer .
