I believe the courses of CGT 163 from Purdue University and ME 1670 from Georgia Tech have substantial similarities in their core content, despite the use of different CAD software (NX and SolidWorks, respectively). Both courses focus on essential principles of engineering graphics and computer-aided design, teaching skills that are fundamental and transferable across different CAD platforms. While each software has unique features and interfaces, the underlying concepts of design, modeling, and technical drawing interpretation remain consistent.
