I would also like to mention that one of the reasons for my acceptance in this course is my concurrent registration with DANC100 introduction to contemporary dance, which included dance laboratories where we had to implement taught concepts into movement.

Participated in a rigorous dance course designed only for dance majors - acceptance required 2 rounds of preauditions and a permit request from the dance department. All sessions were in-person laboratories, where we first learn the concepts of fitness and hip-hop dance history, and then proceed to learn different hip-hop choreographic sequences and cypher (freestyle in a group). Final involved studying real dance performances in the Illinois area and writing essays about them (please find attached the essays).
