I recently spoke with my advisor and she suggested that I mention that my teacher for this course worked for Loyola University of Chicago and has a professor ID from the school, the course just happened to be taught within my high school. Additionally, a member of the Math department from LUC comes in and evaluates the class and the teacher to make sure it meets their standards. Furthermore, my advisor mentioned that she couldn’t see my college transcript from LUC showing I have college credit for the course when she looked up my profile, and was wondering if that wasn’t seen on the evaluation’s end as well. I was wondering if this information would make a difference in the evaluation since the feedback was that the course was taught by a high school teacher.

If the student is confident in the mastery of the course material, they may want to consider the option of testing out GT MATH 2550 or GT MATH 2551 by taking an Advanced Standing Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams
