The UMTYMP Calculus IIIA & IIIB sequence (MATH 2472 & MATH 2473) is considered equivalent to the University of Minnesota course MATH 2263: Multivariable Calculus and fulfills the prerequisite for any University of Minnesota course that has MATH 2263 as a prerequisite. In addition, UMTYMP Calculus III is significantly more writing intensive than MATH 2263 while covering the same subject matter.
