Our BIOS 1107 and BIOS 1108 course content is not always equivalent of the syllabi form other schools. Without the details of the previous course, it was an Intro Bio credit (majors and pre-health). However, in this case, since the credits for the Intro Biology courses were already transferred, the second class could be BIOS 1108/1108L. Together they cover most of the contents of our two semesters.

She also wanted to add that she has "completed several BIOS 3/4XXX level" courses if the approval could be an exception for her but not to update the equivalency table.

Student requesting additional information about why this course can only count for BIOS 1107/L instead of BIOS 1208/L? Currently, both her BIOL 11000 and 11100 both transfer in as BIOS 1107 & L, so the second instance is duplicate credit and she still needs BIOS 1108 or 1208 & Lab.

Good afternoon, This is the second class in biology offered at Purdue (Fundamentals of Biology II) that was accepted as equivalent to BIOS 1108 + BIOS 1108L upon my terms of conditional acceptance to Georgia Tech.I had already received credit for Fundamentals of Biology I, which was satisified by BIOS 11000, which is Fundamentals of Biology I offered at Purdue.

The course and lab syllabus details are showing that the best match for the Learning Objectives are our Intro Bio sections BIOS 1107/1107 L.
