We recommend six policies: Policy 1 (this is the policy that should be applied to this student): The two-course bundle of NSCC MATH 152 (5 quarter credits) + NSCC MATH 163 (5 quarter credits) transfers as GT MATH 1552 (4 GT credits) and GT MATH 2550 (2 GT credits), provided the student completed the courses before their matriculation at Georgia Tech. Policy 2: No transfer credit for two-course bundle of NSCC MATH 152 (5 quarter credits) + NSCC MATH 163 (5 quarter credits), if the student completed the courses after their matriculation at Georgia Tech. Policy 3: NSCC MATH 152 (5 quarter credits) alone transfers as GT MATH 1XXX (3 GT credits), provided the student completed the course before their matriculation at Georgia Tech. Policy 4: No transfer credit for NSCC MATH 152 (5 quarter credits) alone, if the student completed the course after their matriculation at Georgia Tech. Policy 5: NSCC MATH 163 (5 quarter credits) alone transfers as GT MATH 2550 (2 GT credits) and GT MATH 1XXX (1 GT credit), provided the student completed the course before their matriculation at Georgia Tech. Policy 6: No transfer credit for NSCC MATH 163 (5 quarter credits) alone, if the student completed the course after their matriculation at Georgia Tech.

Student wants courses evaluated together. Total is 10 quarter credits = 6 semester credits

Resubmitting this note just in case: "If I resubmit both courses on their own, will they be evaluated jointly so that i am able to earn credit for Math 1552? That is my main concern. I've adjusted the credit hours accordingly referencing my note earlier."

Please upload the courses separately. The site cannot accommodate more than 1 course number per Subject / Course Number fields. Make sure you enter the courses correctly as 5 Quarter Basis credits. Resubmit both courses individually.

Are you sure that MATH 152 and 163 combined are worth 15 quarter credit hours? It seems unusually a large number, compared to other math courses of North Seattle Community College.

Fall 2025 GT Admit. Courses listed on table as MATH 1XXX (3) & MATH 2X51 (3)

Sorry, I input the credit hours incorrectly. Each course (Math& 152, Math& 163) was 5 credit hours.

I understand this is a bit of an odd request but here is the situation: Math 1552 at Georgia Tech primarily consists of two components: integrals and infinite series. At North Seattle College, this material was divided across two courses with integrals being covered in Math 152, while series were covered in Math 163 alongside multivariable calculus. Taken together, Math 152 and Math 163 fully cover the curriculum of Georgia Tech’s Math 1552. I am therefore requesting that these two syllabi be evaluated jointly for the purpose of awarding credit for Math 1552. I believe a similar constraint was applied to my physics transfer credits, where credit was only granted once the full course sequence was completed, and I am hoping the same approach may be considered here. To be clear, I am only seeking credit for a single course (Math 1552), as I have already received transfer credit for multivariable calculus (Math 2X51). Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
