Hi, I found a similar course called "ECE 4803: Mathematical Foundations of Data Science" in GT, which I think I can transfer to. The content taught in ECE 4803 (GT) was almost the same as MATP 4820 (RPI): all kinds of constrained (KKT, simplex method) and unconstrained (Newton, quasi-Newton, SGD, Approximation) optimization algorithms and their application (SVM, logistic regression).
