Hello, I submitted the evaluation almost a month ago, but still have not received the final course equivalency. Could you check if the evaluation is still valid? My FASET is in three days and it would be very helpful if I could have all my credits counted before class registration. Thank you, Eric

Please review for any applicable credit. Thank you.

Is there anything else I must do for this evaluation? When will I get to know the final equivalency?

FY FALL 2023 - BSCMPE My apologies! You are correct - I will forward the evaluation for the CS course to review. Reviewer: 1 unit at UPenn - 4 semester hours.

Hello, I think you have mistaken. This course was from the University of Pennsylvania, not Penn State. The syllabus also says, "Even though ESAP lasts for only three weeks, the breadth of the course is comparable to Penn’s own introductory programming course, CIS 110 ." The content covered includes "abstraction, modularity, objects, loops, arrays, classes, and OOP," which seem to go beyond what is covered in GT's CS 1301.

Hi Eric, This course is listed on the Penn State transcript as 1-semester credit. There is no GT equivalent for this course.

Shouldn't it at least be a 2 credit hour course? The description I have attached mentions 1 Penn credit is usually 2-3 credit hours. The syllabus I have also attached mentions how it covers Penn's CIS 110, which is equivalent to GT CS 1301.

This is a 1-credit hour course, and similar to a seminar course.
