I am resubmitting this evaluation because I was unable to attach supplemental materials previously and I was told to re-submit by someone from the ISYE department. My statistics course (MATH 345M) has the same topics as MATH 3670 and similarly MATH 3215 and ISYE 3770. Additionally, some of these topics were covered in my intro to proofs course (MATH 307) despite it not being in the title of the course (however, it is in the syllabus which you can view in my other transfer credit request for MATH 307). I need this course to graduate in time and I cannot afford another semester. Also, I wanted to say that while the syllabus do not explicitly mention pre-requisites, Calculus is actually a pre-requisite for both MATH 345M and MATH 307. As shown here: https://catalog.uoregon.edu/courses/crs-math/ the pre-requisite for MATH 345M is MATH 342 (Linear Algebra 2) which itself has a pre-requisite of MATH 341 (Linear Algebra 1) whose pre-requisite is MATH 252 (Calculus 2). How the math department at UO handles pre-reqs is it will mention the most advanced class in the sequence as a pre-req, but will not mention previous classes in the sequence because it is implied. This means that MATH 252 (Calculus 2) is a pre-req for MATH 345M but since MATH 342 (Linear Algebra 2) is also a pre-req, they do not list MATH 252 (Calculus 2). Meanwhile, the pre-requisite for MATH 307 is also MATH 252 (Calculus 2). So in other words, this was a calculus based course. I have attached an assignment from the class to support this.
