Please keep in mind that although there is a lot of overlap, it looks from the syllabus that there is no NMR or IR in the lecture course. I am not clear if IR and/or NMR were covered in the lab portion of the course. These may be topics you will need to independently catch up on.

I read the syllabus and can confirm that it is analogous, except: - The course has since included an introduction to organic oxidation and reduction (alcohols, aldehydes, acids, alkenes)

The student provided a 4 year old syllabus (2019) although the class was taken in 2023. The comment added " ....this one I found (from 2019)SHOULD be similar". The course is equivalent but student needs to confirm that the course he has taken IS INDEED analogous.
