At Texas A&M, my previous institution, Introductory Physics I is broken into a lecture component and a lab component. The lecture component is 3 credit hours and the lab component is 2 credit hours. Combined, this gives me 5 credit hours. On the equivalency table, it says that credit is awarded for PHYS 2211 when PHYS 206 (TAMU) and PHYS 216 (TAMU) are combined, as well as 1 extra credit hour (which should go into my free electives). This was not the case on my DegreeWorks. These courses are located in the "Not Counted" section, and the Error Reason listed is "Max of zero classes/credits exceeded." I need to get this sorted out as soon as possible. Similarly, my general chemistry course at my previous institution (CHEM 107) had a lab component (CHEM 117), and these were successfully transferred into DegreeWorks and I received the appropriate credits for those courses. I hope that this can get resolved for my physics course, along with the lab component and the spare 1 credit hour.
