If the student is confident in the mastery of the course material, there are options of testing out GT MATH 1553 or GT MATH 1554, by taking either a Freshman Placement Mathematics Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/faset-and-incoming-students or an Advanced Standing Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams

The Unit Exams and the Final Exam require using LockDown Browser. It is unclear from the syllabus whether they require the webcam proctoring. Even assuming they were all proctored, that is only 44% of the course grade. The other 56% of the course grade is based on unproctored assessments. The percentage of the proctored assessments (if any) is too low compared to the GT courses at this level.
