The course covers 1st and 2nd order differential equations. Many other topics of GT MATH 2552 (4 semester credits) are not covered. Moreover, the course is worth only 2 semester credits.

A GT transfer credit policy treats the terms from Spring 2020 to Summer 2021 (inclusive) as the COVID-19 pandemic period. The courses taken in the pandemic period are evaluated with some leniency.

The UMTYMP Calculus IIA & IIB sequence (MATH 1473 & MATH 2471) is considered equivalent to the University of Minnesota course MATH 2243: Differential Equations and Linear Algebra and fulfills the MATH 2243 prerequisite for any University of Minnesota course that has MATH 2243 as a prerequisite. In addition, UMTYMP Calculus II is significantly more writing intensive than MATH 2243 while covering the same subject matter.
