American Literature II (ENGL 2132) was a class offered to me as a dual enrollment student with the same prerequisites as ENGL 2131 (which was ENGL 1102), for the only difference between American Literature I and II was the time period that the course taught. Both classes tested the student's knowledge at the same level of writing and reading ability. I find it hard to believe that one can get credit for ENGL 2132 and not ENGL 2131.
