Student requesting reevaluation for PHIL 3103. See student note: "Although the course was titled "Ethics of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence", the primary focus was on engaging deeply with philosophical texts and ideas from the 17th and 18th centuries. We studied philosophers such as Immanuel Kant, René Descartes, and John Locke in considerable detail. In the latter part of the course, we examined how their foundational philosophies relate to recent developments in advanced technology, as outlined in the Reading Schedule section of the syllabus. Given the course content, I believe PHL3102 is closely aligned with Georgia Tech’s PHIL3103: Modern Philosophy, which is described as “the study of the development of philosophy from the views of Bacon and Descartes to the beginning of the 20th century.” "
