The grading policy of MTH 263 was not completely described in the syllabus, but in a separate email to the School of Math, the student indicated that there was an online course document that gave the course grade breakdown as follows 12% for Participation, 12% for HW, 12% each for Unproctored Tests 1, 3 and 5, 20% each for Proctored Tests 2 and 4. The proctored final exam was only used in order to replace a grade or be used in the place in case you missed a proctored test.

The course is less rigorous than similar GT MATH courses. Only 40% of the course grade is based on proctored assessments.
