Hi I see that there is no course credit evaluation I was wondering why that was? And if there's anything I could do about it.

Thank you so much for being very responsive on this as I understand y’all are very busy. I do know that this is a very long note and will probably scare whoever is reading this way to push it to the back of my mind, or at least I would do that but I need this for my registration which is already not the best pick time with not having as many credits coming in learning from other students, it’s scary that the average seems to be 50 credits. I’m paying practically full out of state, only recently got an $8,000 scholarship, every bit counts, but I already need to take an extra semester to graduate and not getting this credit would drastically affect my graduation timing or at least part of my mental sanity, having to take 6 classes for 13 credits to be a full time student. After reviewing the links you provided, I noticed that the only placement test available for current students will be held Saturday from 9–11 AM. Unfortunately, as an out-of-state student from CT, flights are rather expensive to book a few days before especially during the holidays. I wanted to ask about the reasoning behind the credit not being approved. The course I completed was asynchronous but required lockdown settings, which, as I’ve learned, is common for exams in Canvas at this school. Is this the primary reason for the disapproval? I ask because this same course has been approved at other community colleges, practically all nearby, and the only change during my time in the program was an update to the course numbering system, which is reflected in my transcript. Additionally, I’ve reviewed the remaining classes I need to graduate. If this credit isn’t approved, my course options become significantly limited, narrowing down to ECE 3710, MSE 2001, and ISYE 3025. This is alongside my current courses APPH 1040 and ME 1670 totaling 13 credits across 6 classes. While I understand this schedule is already intensive, dropping a class would reduce my load below the 12-credit minimum required for being a full-time student. When I registered for my fall semester courses, I had already completed the final exam, although the course had not been put on my transcript yet. I was granted a temporary override to enroll, as my grade at the time was a B (now reflected as a B-). Between the end of summer and now, my course was merged with others from community colleges across my state, resulting in updated course numbers. This change is evident in my transcript, and I wanted to ensure this factor is accounted for in the evaluation. If I’ve misunderstood the placement test schedule or other details, please don’t hesitate to correct me. I appreciate your time and assistance in clarifying this matter.

If the student is confident in the mastery of the course material, there are options of testing out GT MATH 1553 or GT MATH 1554, by taking either a Placement Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/faset-and-incoming-students or an Advanced Standing Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams

My school, Capital Community College, merged with all the other community colleges in my state to become CT State Community College. The course I took was offered at the Capital Community College campus but is now under the umbrella of CT State Community College. It’s the same curriculum, just a different numbering system, which is why I had to submit this request.
