My goal originally was to take the ASE as suggested by faculty. But the issue I faced is that one of the key classes I need to take this semester has a MATH 2552 co-req. Because of this, I've been forced to take 18 credit hours this semesters. This request was one of the ways I've tried to make my semester more manageable. Thank you for your consideration.

If the student is confident in the mastery of the course topics of GT MATH 2552, they may want to consider the option of testing out GT MATH 2552 by taking an Advanced Standing Exam https://math.gatech.edu/undergraduate/advanced-standing-exams

Only 45% of the course grade is from proctored assessments. The course is as rigorous as GT MATH courses of this level. We suggest to not change the transfer credits of GT MATH 2XXX that this student has already received, but the course should not be awarded transfer credits until it meets our standards.

Currently my diff eq course has transferred over only as a math elective. I do believe however that the material covered in my course is sufficient enough for me to get the credit for the diff eq course here at tech. Although Laplace transforms were not covered in class, I did spend time learning about the method on my own for the course's final project. For the final project, we each had to pick a method of solving differential equations and learn about it. My paper/final project will be attached as the course document for reference.
