In this course the students would "Students will effectively analyze and interpret the meaning, cultural significance, and ethical implications of literary/philosophical texts or of works in the visual/performing arts" (in this case in Architecture and visual design in the Renaissance). Thus in my opinion this would equate to a humanities elective.
