In my read of the syllabus, while not the equivalent of our ID 2242 course, this meets the requirements of a humanities credit: Students will effectively analyze and interpret the meaning, cultural significance, and ethical implications of literary/philosophical texts or of works in the visual/performing arts.

I am afraid that the timeframe covered is too narrow to equal our current ID 2242 History of Art 2. The course at Lagrange College picks up with Impressionism in the 19th century while our course begins in the post Renaissance era circa 1600. I would say that this should be granted HUM 1XXX.
